What is Teilen?

Teilen (pronounced “tie-Lin”) is a monthly storytelling event, consisting of both non-storytellers (the audience) and the storytellers, people who volunteer to share their story.

Teilen is a community event and encourages people to connect with each other on the most human level, through telling stories.

Each night will have a pre-set theme and up to 10 storytellers will be chosen randomly from all those who volunteer to share a story. They then have 5 minutes to tell their personal, genuine story related to the theme. The stories are told in front of a live audience, on a stage and into a microphone.
